Ingrid and Bejan | Shenandoah Elopement

In the early hours of August 6th 2021 in the Shenandoah National Park, the couple set out to explore the mountains for a perfect spot to share their personal vows and (secretly) exchange rings.

After getting ready at the Big Meadows Lodge, the groom waited for his bride at the Meadows, where they saw each other for the first time as bride and groom. Through the vast rolling hills, soaking in the sunlight, they walked side by side, with a constant smile and the thought of beginning the adventure of their life time.

Driving through the Skyline Drive for the first time was a treat at their wedding day. The weather couldn't be any more perfect and the wild flowers were blooming in every corner. We stopped on countless jaw-dropping overlooks to take in the views, we were filled with adventure and adrenaline while scrambling a few rocks to find the perfect spot to share their vows.

After popping the champagne and staring into the valley, lost in their thoughts and surrounded by laughter, we made our way back into the city to share an afternoon with family and friends at The Rectory on Princess Street. The manor was the perfect nest for their celebration, a small group of loved ones gathered to officially marry Ingrid and Bejan and share some cake.

To Ingrid and Bejan, a life filled with as much love, laughter, adventure and sweetness as shared with me on that bright sunny day!
